Hola community, happy Sunday!
Welcome to this week’s issue of The Latinx Collective, where we bring you the every day contributions and achievements of the incredibly diverse Latinx community. I’m doing this work to show that we are not a burden in this country or others. If you’re new here: visit the archive here. Every week, expect to see 5 positive stories about our contributions (could be business or cultural) including fun videos and songs - as well as one spotlight on a Latinx-owned project (could be a book, movie, podcast, business, etc). Submissions are always welcome.
P.S. The holidays are approaching so if you’re looking for special gift ideas and want to contribute to the economy of Latinx households, check out this business directory of creatives and small businesses - you can find things like art, clothing, zines, bath products and skincare, tea blends +more. You buy directly from them: I’m not a middleman, just curating a list to provide visibility to these business owners!
Con cariño,
Elisabeth Rosario
